Michael Peters

Determined, approachable and immensely knowledgeable, Michael Peters is an invaluable asset to his clients. A Licensed Estate Manager/Auctioneer with 24 years experience to his name, he has auctioned in excess of 2,200 residential properties.

Michael is based in RUN Property’s Carlton office and he specialises in several suburbs, including Carlton, North Carlton, Fitzroy, North Fitzroy, Northcote, Brunswick, Coburg, Templestowe and Doncaster. During his extensive career, Michael has been involved in every aspect of real estate marketing. He owned and operated a successful agency for 12 years and has recruited, developed and trained some of Melbourne’s finest sales people.

Attracted to his chosen area for the period housing, cosmopolitan lifestyle and proximity to the CBD, Michael thrives on guiding his clients through the most challenging and nerve wracking parts of the sales process. “The excitement on auction day is the highlight for me,” he says. “Seeing my vendors nervous prior to calling an auction, and then seeing the expression of utter relief and gratitude on their faces is something I just don’t get tired of.”

Michael has attended numerous seminars and is a member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria. Early in his career, he won the Novice Auctioneers Competition for his state – a testament to his commitment to always pursuing the highest possible price.

He joined RUN because he believes the company’s culture, values and high level of integrity are closely aligned with his own approach. Outside of work, Michael is a dedicated family man whose passions include travelling, food, wine, motorcycling and spending time with his wife and four children.
