I rent a property managed by Lindsey at your Springwood branch. Last night, with the constant rain here on the Gold Coast we had a major issue with water coming into the house from at that time an unknown source.
There was simply water everywhere, running down the stairs, running down walls in the downstairs lounge/family room, soaking the carpet in the upstairs bedroom. Not expecting there would be any answer I phoned the Springwood office anticipating the numbers of emergency tradespeople in a recorded message. Luckily the phone was diverted to Lindsey and she answered. Clearly she could hear there was a serious situation and she immediately tried to get a plumber to come out and look at the roof or other possibilities. At the same time I was trying to phone the SES. Lindsey then got back to me and advised that a plumber would be out ASAP.
Lindsey also asked me some more questions and when I told her just how much water we now had and that it had come through a downlight she advised that she was coming down herself. Just for the record I am still waiting for the SES to get back to me.
So, at around 8.15pm last night (Sunday 3rd October) Lindsey arrived with her husband and with Rachelle. They could not believe what they were seeing with so much water everywhere. They all just asked for towels/buckets and anything else that would help and for nearly two hours just helped us get rid of water from under the stairwell, stairs and other areas to at least make the situation as bearable as possible. They did this for over 2 hours. The plumber was also there during this time and was on the roof in the pouring rain to try and stop any more water coming inside.
I have to tell you that this was sincerely appreciated and they need to be congratulated. Their efforts certainly assisted us in being able to remain in the house overnight and Lindsey was also able to finally speak with the owner whilst there to make arrangements for her to come to the property this morning. Their clothing was completely soaked from just bending down in the water that was under the stairwell and from going in and out of the rain to tip out the contents of numerous buckets and then trying to wring out towels to use again. They finally left at around 10.45pm. I have a property in Adelaide that I rent out and whilst I consider my property managers quite good, there is no way that they would have been doing what both Lindsey and Rachelle were doing last night.
Their efforts go way above and beyond the call of what the majority of employees would do. It is rare today to find staff like this so I felt it necessary that all of the management at RUN Property should be aware of just how valuable these two staff members are to your business.
A star performer
I was a tenant of RUN's however I vacated recently as I moved overseas.
Our Relationship Executive was exceptional in the service provided to us. She is proactive and provided all the assistance needed when we were the tenants. Even when we had to move out of the property she was always there to provide any help we needed and had the formalities completed very efficiently. She is a star performer in your team.
Just wanted to thank you all for making our stay pleasant and memorable. It would be a pleasure renting from you again.
Above and beyond the call of duty
I would like to express my satisfaction for the most efficient and polite service that I have received from the RUN Team.
On Tuesday I dropped into the office to enquire about rental accommodation in The Forum building. Even though the official open for inspection times were on Saturday, Natalie arranged for Kieran to show me through the very same day.
At 4:15pm I left your office after completing an application, and by 4:45pm had received a call to confirm that the application had been approved. At 4:57pm I received an email outlining the administration requirements in the coming days, which were well documented and professional. Kieran and Natalie went out of their way to assist with my questions and provided an exceptional service throughout the entire process (for example, arranging an extra swipe card, changing the postal address in the system to my other house). As a home owner, I appreciate the importance of looking after one of your most valuable assets, and through the service that I received from Kieran and Natalie, the landlords can be very comfortable that their asset is in well-managed hands. Once again, thank you to Kieran, Natalie and the team at Run for the positive experience that I have received. I will certainly be recommending your agency to my friends and colleagues.
Welcome to Melbourne!
You may recall that we spoke last week in regards to my move to Melbourne and in your effort to assist me you asked Irene Moutafis to liaise with me.
I would like to formally advise you that since my house hunting began I have not encountered such assistance, kindness and response as I have with Irene. She responds to my queries immediately, she has assisted in obtaining information from a colleague and also asked me to advise her if I was not contacted them. She even went as far as to follow up with me regarding this when I hadn't had the chance to let her know.
I realise that everyone is so busy because I'm pretty sure I've spoken to every single agent in Melbourne :-) and can barely get them to call me back let alone assist my "special needs" seeing as I'm 800km's away and have pets. While my house hunting continues, Irene's assistance and understanding has been exemplary and I cant thank you or her enough for the help she has provided to date.
I have copied Irene on this email because I feel it is important that she knows how much a return call or email means when someone is going through this stressful endeavour and I don't think that people acknowledge good work or even thank people that go out of their way to help them.
I hope that I find something soon and should it be through another agent I wanted to take the time now to let you know that you have a 1 in a million staff member in Irene and she should be congratulated.
My expereience at RUN Property with Amoula and Britta was greatly appreciated. I moved here from Canada three months ago and they are by far the most professional individuals I have met so far. Their pleasant manners made finding an apartment an enjoyable experience.
This is to acknowledge Jade's wonderful business sense and dedicated work helping us let our house in Mulgrave. The stressful business of letting one's home and moving to another position in a very short time was made a lot smoother with Jade's professional attitude.
She kept in communication with us at every turn and we know that it is due to her 'selling' our property to prospective clients as well as screening the applicants which actually achieved the renting of our home very quickly
